My first sample cake for a potential customer! It was a Doll cake made in chocolate and vanilla buttercream filling. Covered the whole thing with fondant. Loved to work on the details on the dress. i'm sure my next doll cake will be better. As the saying goes... practice makes perfect! It's soo true ! oh well... got my first order. will start working on soon..:)

Fondant Bow
This was my first try at Fondant bows.. wasn't the very best.. but got a lot of do's and dont's from this... :)
Had some left over fondant from the last cake i did, so i thought i'd try out the bow with them. The cake had two layers of filling.. one vanilla and another chocolate.. yummmm!!..:)
O well, hopefully the next one will be better. i've got my first order this week. Hoping to make someone's day!! :)
I had fun creating this cake for my Dear hubby and his cousin Sis ( they have the same birthdate with a gap of 5-6 years though!..;) ) Aaaanyway, so this was my very first Fondant cake. Loved every second of it. I made Marshmallow fondant from scratch. I was pretty scared at first to try it, but i can't explain how easy it was. although i had to struggle abit with the rooling of the fondant as i had no smooth counter-tops. Oh well, everything is an experience! :) The reactions were worth all the trouble!
My hubby was really impressed and loved it very much..:D I plan on making more and trying out new stuff. Being a newbie, i've got a lot to learn. Please feel free to leave comments on my work. Thanks for looking.. :)
